Panel 11 complete + w.i.p's

It hits the ring post, that's what happens!

Panel 9 complete + w.i.p's

Karl ducks the hammer in this panel, a very near miss. It looks quite effective and seems like his has energy. With speed being important now deadline is nearing I must be quicker and thus is why there are less w.i.p shots. Before a panel may have taken a few days on and off, now I need to get 3 done in a day. The question is, what happens after this panel?

Panel 7 complete + w.i.p's

I needed to show Karl Matthews rising up before being attacked by the Executioner. Originally I was going to show this in one shot, but I thought splitting the screen into 3 panels would show motion and provide a break to the big full screen panels the viewer would be seeing. Again, slight adujustments need to be made such as the leg being bigger in certain areas.

After this page I was going to have a full panel showing our hero rising to his feet to further establish that he is struggling to get up. The panel below is a scrapped panel showing this. The composition looked off and it generally looked odd. He looked too young due to the angle, so i decided to leave it. I think it is fairly obvious he is rising without this panel regardless.

Panel 8 complete + w.i.p's

This panel is where the Exectutioner lunges in to attack his opponent with the hammer. I used Daz for the forground character and a mixture of reference for the Executioner. It was quite difficult to get the dynamic pose, but with a change of composition I think this was achieved somewhat. Although this is considered complete, I will be making minor changes to this panel and others before commiting to making the novel in iweb.

Panel 6 complete

Panel 6 didn't take long, as it is a close up shot of the executioner grabbing the sledgehammer. This will be an animatic hence why I have in included 3 shots to show how it will looks roughly. His hand will reach in to grab the handle, at which point I will switch to a different layer showing his hand clasping the hammer. After this his arm will pull out of frame revealing the hammer. I will add effects in the final production to ensure it looks and sounds good. I am hoping to also produce more animated sections, however, I have a lot to do and progress is slow so it very much depends how quickly I get the panels done. After all, I have not even got to the choices yet. Two more shots and I shall be at that stage.

Panel 5 complete + w.i.p's

This panel features the point in which my character sees his sledgehammer weapon, realising he can use it to end Karl Matthews. It's soon after this point that user choices will be made.

Panel 4 Complete + w.i.p's

Panel 4 was designed to be a reaction shot whilst at the same time introducing the commentators into the story, to give it a bit more depth and further push the idea. I used reference from a shot of WWE commentators to get the general size and composition. I think it worked well and although this is near final, text may yet be changed.
